Internet Governance Webinar

Description

This webinar is for anyone in the RIPE community who would like to get involved with Internet governance and wants to understand how policies and frameworks can influence their business. You will learn about the multistakeholder model, hear about different approaches when it comes to Internet governance and find out why and how to get involved.

During the second part of the webinar, we will brief you on the outcomes of two major events: the World Summit on the Information Society +20 (WSIS +20) which took place 27-31 May 2024 in Geneva and the Summit of the Future, which takes place on 22-23 September 2024 in New York. The latter conference will adopt the Pact for the Future, which will include among others a Global Digital Compact.

We will also cover the South Eastern European Dialogue on Internet Governance, coming up on 24-25 November 2024.
